Goretskaya Polina 15 June 1972 Samara.

Polina Goretskaya is a painter and graphic artist a stage and interior designer and a decorator.
She lives and works in Samara, Russia.

It is typical of Polina’s creativity an impassioned emotionality, the most dramatic and exciting perception of life.
An expressive painting well-made of a color contrast a jerky rhythm and a free action of rich stroke of paint-brush.
Sometimes it is marked with an elegant coloring and an expressive pictorial drawing.

Nicolay Ivanovich Feshin made an impact on Polina Goretskaya. Her art has much in common with Postimpressionists.
But most of all Polina Goretskaya was impressed by Vincent Van Gogh painting and literary characters from Gabriel Garcia Marcuez, Boris Vian.

Finished the  Samara State Art School named after Petrov-Vodkin (1991),  graduated from  Samara State Academy of Arts (1998).
Polina Goretskaya takes an active part in local interregional art exhibitions, prize winner of All-Russian “Light Art-Festival 2007”.
Polina used to be an art-teacher, stage and interior designer and a decorator. The last two years were dedicated to painting.
